My New Words

Sift (v) to separate something from other things; to filter.

Dwindle (v) to gradually become smaller and smaller.

Slither (v) to slide smoothly across a surface, twisting or moving from side to side.

Torrent (n) a large amount of water rushing in one direction.

Revel (v) to greatly enjoy; to take pleasure in .

Up-close-and-personal (idiom) close enough for someone to interact with.

By the dozen (idiom) used to show that there is a lot of something.

Ditto (adv) used to say that what is true about one thing is also true about another.
