This time, I talk about the "Ghost Festival".

The seventh lunar month be known as "Ghost Month ".

During this month, Chinese believe that the Gate of Hell will open, and the "Good Brethren"(In Taiwan, ghosts without descendants to care for them are euphemistically called the "Good Brethren," and Ghost Festival is thus often referred to as "Praying to the Good Brethren."), ghosts from the underworld, come back to earth to feast on the victuals offered by the living.

We also burn “paper money” for them to use in the hades.
