Merry Christmas CGU, Let’s DIY the Gingerbread！
With the coming of Christmas, the CGU students use creations to make their own “Gingerbread” to celebrating the holiday！

In order to celebrate the up coming of Christmas, the Students Housing Division of Chang Gung University holds the activity, "Gingerbread-Making Competition". Students can "DIY" any kinds of gingerbread just by their creations. Also, after the gingersnap is made, the Students Housing Division will have someone to pretend the "Angel" to help the makers send the lovely gingerbread to his or her lovers.
On Dec. 21th, at about 6 o'clock pm, a "Gingerbread-Making Competition" is held on the first floor of the School Activity Center. There are almost about 60 teams attending the competition. Last year, the winner made the shape of "windmill" and "aircraft", so everyone is quite curious about what kind of amazing designs will be made this year.
As the starts, every student concentrates on designing their "house". The tables are full of decorative candies, cookies, and wreath. You can find beautiful snow which is made by the icing sugar hanging down the gingerbread's eaves. Also you can see deer linger in the front of the cute house which is located in the "heavy snow". Miss Wang, a junior who majors in Health Care Management says, "It's so interesting, and the gingersnap is very yummy. This is my first time to attend the activity, and now I can’t wait to put my candy Santa in front of my cute and delicious house. I also look forward to sending my elaborate work to my boyfriend."
In this cold season, the temperature outdoor is low! But in the meeting place, it is so "hot"! You can see everyone with joyful smiles and happiness feelings on their faces; you can hear pleasant yell and laughing everywhere. "How fun and creative the competition is! This is my second year to join this competition. And I think I am willing to attend it next time! It is an activity worthy to join every year! By the way, even if it is so difficult to design an unique work, our team still has the confidence to win this year! " Mr. Zhan, one of the participants says.
With the delighted atmosphere, CGU shall have a warm and merry Christmas in this cold winter.
